Endorsements from Residents:

Terri Harsch:

I am endorsing Mary Hosley for Ward 3 city council. Mary has been active as an advocate on multiple issues for our community. She takes on each challenge and project with meticulous attention to detail and thorough research. Mary’s legal expertise is beneficial in evaluating important topics for South Haven. She will be an asset to our city government.

Jim and Mona Hale:

As lifelong residents of South Haven, we have been impressed by the willingness of our fellow citizens to step up to serve in our City government.
Having lived in Ward 3 for over forty-four years, we have been represented by many outstanding City Council members. This year we are pleased to strongly endorse Mary Hosley to be our next Ward 3 Councilperson.
In meeting Mary, we found her to be extremely well versed on issues currently facing the City Council. Her legal background will be an invaluable asset for the Council in deciding critical future issues. Mary will listen to the concerns of her constituents and will give careful consideration to all perspectives in her decision making. She will be dedicated to seek a fair and level playing field for all South Haven residents.
Please join us in supporting Mary Hosley for 3rd Ward Councilperson and cast your vote for her on November 7th.

Dan Agnello:

A vote for Mary Hosley is a vote for fairness. It doesn’t matter if you’re a full-time resident or a second-home owner. If you have a concern, she listens and comes prepared to discuss the issue. From working with Mary over the past few years, I’ve witnessed her raise issues on both sides of the argument and pursue the best outcome for our community.

Mary doesn’t take sides, but she follows the facts to get to the best recommendation for the city as a whole the first time. Mary has helped us who live near the Overton Site and I know she has helped people who live near 77 Clinton. I have no doubt she has helped others. If concerns raised by her and others had been timely addressed, maybe we would be building on the Overton Site by now. All that time and money wasted for no housing. Mary’s passion to help and her fairness is what the city needs right now.

Mary Pat and Tony Carollo:

Mary Hosley would be an important and necessary addition to the South Haven City Council. As 30-plus years as property owners in this community, we believe the challenges facing the city to be more complex than many appreciate. Mary brings her experience as an attorney working in a corporate environment, showing her dedication to the community by not only attending but actively participating in discussions at City Council, Zoning Board of Appeals and other city commissions/ boards relevant to management of South Haven.

We have first-hand experience with Mary's attention and focus on the details. She is clearly willing to go the extra mile to do the right thing to its conclusion for the city of South Haven as well as its citizens.

The people of South Haven are fortunate to have a person like Mary Hosley who is willing to seek input and work with others, to help lead the city through these challenging times and issues.

The city of South Haven deserves the best. Therefore, Mary Hosley deserves your vote for Ward 3 City Council representative.

Kurt & Cathy Haller:

My wife Cathy and I support Mary Hosley for the South Haven city council without reservation to represent Ward 3. Having attended multiple city council meetings where Mary presented, I found her to be thorough, direct, and knowledgeable of the facts and the law relating to the topic being discussed. As someone who led a corporate board for nearly 2 decades, I always wanted someone like Mary on the board to keep us within the necessary legal and regulatory boundaries while having the facts on hand to support or refute our proposals. South Haven needs Mary Hosley.

Steve & Karen Hamlin:

Please support Mary Hosley for 3rd Ward City Council Member.  Having been a property owner in South Haven since 1974, we ask that you give this endorsement due consideration.
Mary Hosley will always be prepared for each issue, insuring that the whole Council gets complete, un-bias information on every issue.  Her legal expertise will insure due process and equal legal protection will be applied to every citizen whose issue comes before the City Council.
Mary Hosley has demonstrated intelligence, thorough research, and a determined effort to insure openness on past issues before the Council.  She believes in transparency and fairness for every citizen, regardless of their economic circumstances.
Mary Hosley will insure that your vote, in our represen
tative government, will not be defaulted to unelected City employees and insure that the Elected Council will set clear policy and goals for the City.
Thank you sincerely, Steve & Karen
